PANAMA

Panama occupies the narrow southern tip of Central America, bordered by Costa Rica to the west and Colombia to the east, with coastline on both the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. It is home to the Panama Canal, a 80-kilometer waterway completed in 1914 that connects the two oceans and remains one of the most strategically significant engineering projects in modern history.
