By: Sarah Stone

Each year, the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival brings your favorite Disney characters and stories to life in an elaborate display of flowers, topiaries, and other fun creations. They’re displayed all over the park, punctuated by interactive exhibits and amazing foods and drinks at each of EPCOT’s World Showcase destinations, a super fun concert series, and so much more to explore.
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival 2026 runs from March 4 through June 1.Â
Here are a few of our highlights from this year’s festival – enjoy!
Staying at a Disney Resort
This was our first trip where we stayed on property at a resort! We opted for the Port Orleans Resort – Riverside as our first stay – and what fun! Tiana is my favorite Disney Princess, and we both love live music and jazz. We stayed in a Standard View room rather than a more expensive Preferred or Royal one, as we didn’t plan to spend a ton of time at the resort – so we didn’t have all the extras, like fiber-optic fireworks in the headboard, but our room was still very comfortable, very cute, and on theme. We loved the little details from The Princess and the Frog!

This bench is already cute – and it folds down into a cot if you need it!

We stopped by Scat Cat’s Club for some live music and good drinks – Dave got a Bourbon Flight and I got a Chocolate Martini. There’s a gorgeous display of carnival masks here too!

Dave surprised me with a nighttime carriage ride around the resort – if you have the chance to do this, it’s so much fun! Our horse was named Judd, and he was a big sweetheart.

What a gorgeous night for a carriage ride!
And of course we had to stop for beignets at the Scat Cat’s Club Cafe! We upgraded to the Baton Rouge Beignets, which come with Bailey’s that you can squeeze right into them.

Some Bites Around the World
We have two Flower and Garden Festival trips this year, so we were a little restrained with our bites this time! More to come in the next post – here are a few highlights:

Garden Vegetable Flatbread
Garden Vegetable Flatbread: 100% my favorite thing at the festival this year! This flatbread has Boursin Crumbles Garlic & Fine Herbs Cheese plus roasted vegetables and arugula salad. Absolutely delicious, can’t wait to have it again on our next trip.
Beverly: We’ve heard of Beverly but have never tried it! Go to Club Cool to taste this non-alcoholic aperitif – it’s famously divisive and Dave and I had exactly the reactions we expected.

French Toast
French Toast: Dave got this at Brunchcot – the French toast comes with cinnamon cereal cream and caramel sauce. I usually go for savory treats, so I got the next thing on this list!

Avocado Toast
Avocado Toast: …And that’s a lovely avocado toast with marinated tomatoes and goat cheese on toasted ciabatta.

Nigerian Beef Pie
Nigerian Beef Pie: I’m a vegetarian, so skipped this one, but Dave loved it! This is at the Refreshment Outpost.
Flowers and Gardens
My favorite part! I love seeing all the amazing topiaries and gardens and fun creations at the Flower and Garden Festival every year. My favorite section right now is Tinkerbell’s Fairy House Garden, over at the UK pavilion. There’s also a super fun Monsters University section with Mike, Sully, and a bunch of other friends.

Welcome to the Festival!
