SERBIA

Serbia is a landlocked country in the central Balkans, bordered by Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Croatia. It was the core of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia and subsequently the dominant republic of socialist Yugoslavia, and its capital Belgrade is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in Europe, with settlements on the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers dating back more than 7,000 years.
