MADAGASCAR

Madagascar is an island nation in the Indian Ocean off the southeastern coast of Africa and the world’s fourth largest island. Having separated from the African continent roughly 88 million years ago, it developed in near-total isolation, resulting in a level of biodiversity found nowhere else, with more than 90 percent of its wildlife endemic to the island.
