STATE OF PALESTINE

The State of Palestine is a territory in Western Asia comprising two geographically separate areas: the West Bank, situated between Israel and Jordan, and the Gaza Strip, a narrow coastal territory bordering Israel and Egypt. It has been recognized as a sovereign state by the majority of United Nations member countries, though its borders, governance, and political status remain subjects of ongoing dispute and are central to one of the most protracted and internationally significant conflicts of the modern era.
