PAKISTAN
Pakistan is a large country in South Asia, bordered by India, Afghanistan, Iran, and China, with a coastline along the Arabian Sea. It was created in 1947 following the partition of British India, initially comprising two geographically separate regions, West Pakistan and East Pakistan, before East Pakistan became the independent nation of Bangladesh in 1971. The Indus Valley, which runs through its territory, was the site of one of the ancient world’s most sophisticated urban civilizations, with cities like Mohenjo-daro and Harappa dating back more than 4,500 years.
