SINT MAARTEN

Sint Maarten is a constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, occupying the southern portion of an island it shares with the French territory of Saint-Martin. The island is one of the smallest in the world to be divided between two sovereign entities, and the border between the two sides has historically been open and unmarked, though the two halves operate under separate governments, currencies, and legal systems.
