DOMINICA

Dominica is a small island nation in the Lesser Antilles, positioned between the French territories of Guadeloupe to the north and Martinique to the south. Unlike many of its neighbors, it was never significantly developed for plantation agriculture due to its rugged volcanic terrain, and as a result retains a higher level of forest cover and is home to the Caribbean’s largest surviving population of the indigenous Kalinago people.
