Anguilla is a small British Overseas Territory in the northeastern Caribbean, situated at the northern end of the Leeward Islands chain. It is one of the region’s smallest territories by both land area and population, and has no rivers, relying entirely on rainwater collection and desalination for its fresh water supply.
