SAINT HELENA, ASCENSION & TRISTAN DA CUNHA
Saint Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha is a British Overseas Territory comprising three remote island groups in the South Atlantic Ocean, none of which are geographically close to one another. Saint Helena is best known historically as the site of Napoleon Bonaparte’s final exile, where he died in 1821; Tristan da Cunha, with a population of roughly 250 people, is widely regarded as the most remote permanently inhabited settlement in the world.
