CHAD
Chad is a large landlocked country in north-central Africa, bordered by Libya, Sudan, the Central African Republic, Cameroon, Nigeria, and Niger. The northern third of the country is covered by the Sahara Desert, while the south contains savanna and the Lake Chad basin, a historically significant body of water that has shrunk dramatically over the past several decades due to climate change and agricultural demand.
