Located on Boracay Island in the Philippines, White Beach is a globally renowned destination for travelers looking for sun and sand in a tropical paradise. The beach spans four kilometers and is one of the more popular destinations in the area for both relaxation and adventure—it’s also a gorgeous place to watch the sunset, and then head to the local bars and restaurants for the perfect end to the day.
When is the best time to visit White Beach? You should travel during the dry season (November to April), when the weather is nice enough to enjoy outdoor activities, and the water is most welcoming.
How long should you stay at White Beach? A couple of days is a good amount of time to explore the area and enjoy the beach.
What can you see and do at White Beach? There’s a ton to do in the area! Go windsurfing, kite surfing, jet skiing, or parasailing if you’re ready for an adrenaline rush—and if you’d like to explore further, go island-hopping and check out snorkeling and diving spots farther away from White Beach. While here, check out D’Mall (a beachside open-air shopping center), Willy’s Rock (a rock formation that’s recognizable for the Virgin Mary statue that stands at its top), and Mount Luho.
How do you get to White Beach? Traveling to Boracay, you’ll likely fly to Caticlan or Kalibo. From Caticlan, you can take a boat ride to Boracay Island, which is only about 15 minutes away. If you’re flying into Kalibo, you’ll need to take a bus or van to the Caticlan port mentioned above, and then take the ferry. Once on Boracay, you can rent an ebike or similar and head on to beautiful White Beach!
