Often considered the glittering jewel of luxury living in the Near East, Dubai is usually the first stop people think of when they picture the UAE. The Burj Khalifa is an incredible sight and an amazing feat of engineering—and it offers excellent views from the observation deck. The Dubai Marina is a beautiful place to explore, dine, and shop. Consider chartering a yacht from the marina to get a stunning city view!

There is a whole host of world-class theme parks and family attractions in the UAE, many of which can be found in Abu Dhabi. This city is the best family destination in the country—from Warner Bros. World to SeaWorld, there’s no shortage of rides, attractions, exhibitions, and shopping centers in Abu Dhabi that can indulge every want and whim of your family on holiday. If you want a touch of culture to go with all that excitement, the royal palace, Qasr Al Watan, is also easily accessible.

Dubai’s Jumeirah Beach offers stunning views of the Burj Al Arab and is perfect for sunbathing and swimming. Kite Beach is especially popular for water sports and has a lively atmosphere with food trucks and cafes. In Abu Dhabi, Saadiyat Island has soft white sands and bright, shining waters.
Explore Its Historic Wonders

As close as it is to the cradle of civilization, the UAE has plenty of historical depth. The Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization, with over 5,000 artifacts, offers insights into Islamic art, culture, and history. Don’t miss the Al Fahidi Historic District in Dubai, with its 19th-century architecture and cultural events and expositions.
